  • Cellulite Reduction

What is The Venus Freeze?

The Venus Freeze is a non-invasive solution for Body Contouring, Cellulite Reduction and Skin Tightening. The treatment delivers fast, virtually pain-free, homogeneous heating to the deeper skin layers, which works to dramatically improve the look of your skin and body.

Which areas can be treated?

Venus Freeze treatments can be used anywhere on the face and body to smooth wrinkles, tighten loose skin, reduce cellulite and treat fat circumferentially.

How does it work?

Using (MP)2 technology, the device delivers multi-polar radio frequency and pulsed magnetic fields to the skin to produce a dense and uniform heat matrix. This causes collagen production and contraction, fibroblast proliferation, neo-vascularity, and lipolysis.

This results in a smoother, firmer, more toned you

Skin Tightening and Wrinkle Reduction:

The multi-polar radio frequency causes a thermal response in the tissue, which activates the body’s natural healing response. As a result, new collagen and elastin fibers are formed, and the production of fibroblasts increases. The existing collagen in the skin contracts causing your skin to look and feel firmer; and the elastin fibres unravel, making your skin more elastic.

Cellulite Reduction and Body Contouring:

When the temperature of the skin is elevated, the body releases stress hormones. These hormones pass through the bloodstream, attaching themselves to specific receptors on the membrane of the fat cell in the hypodermis—the deepest layer of the skin. Once the stress hormone is attached to the receptor, it activates the hormone-sensitive lipase. Lipase breaks down triglycerides into free fatty acids. The free fatty acids then exit the fat cell through the bloodstream, reducing the volume of the fat cell. Your end result is a smoother, more contoured shape.

How many treatments will i need?

Sessions usually last around 30 minutes, depending on the area being treated. Most treatment providers will recommend a series of 6-8 treatment sessions done weekly in order to see optimal results.

How long do the results last?

Long term results can be achieved in as few as six to eight treatments. To maintain the effects of the treatment, occasional maintenance treatments are recommended to ensure that you keep the aging process at bay. We recommend one maintenance treatment every season, or four treatments per year.

However, some patients have treatments as often as once monthly because they enjoy the treatment and its results.

Whats the procedure like?

The Venus Freeze treatment is a gentle, non-invasive procedure with no downtime. During the treatment, a thin layer of glycerin is first applied to the treatment area. Next, the applicator is gently applied to the skin in constant, circular motions. The treatment is relaxing, very comfortable and feels similar to a hot stone massage. Depending on the treatment area, the total treatment time is about 30-60 minutes.

How will i feel after a treatment

Relaxed and the area will feel warm.  Sometimes there is a slight pinkness to the skin.  The warmth and pinkness will subside within an hour or so. There is no downtime, you can resume daily activities immediately.

Is it safe?

Yes! Radiofrequency and Magnetic Pulses have been used in medicine for years and are proven to be safe and effective technologies. The Venus Freeze is licensed by Health Canada as a non-invasive treatment for tightening skin, reducing wrinkles, reducing circumferential fat and reducing cellulite.

Am I a good candidate?

Treatments use radio frequency technology, which is proven safe and effective for all skin tones. Everyone is a good candidate unless there is a contraindication which your technician has advised you otherwise. Realistic expectations and a desire to look and feel better are all you need.
